Computer Troubleshooting

A FAB Communications Technician will:

• Troubleshoot one computer using approved tools
• Repair any operating system issues (boot issues, blue screens, etc.) using approved tools
• Remove all viruses and spyware on the computer using approved tools
• Apply modifications and all operating system critical updates
• Remove any unneeded startup items and unneeded programs
• Test operating system for proper functionality
• Conduct a physical cleaning of the computer
• Provide you with an estimated cost for any hardware repair(s) or upgrade(s) needed to provide a complete solution, if necessary

Note: You must provide the restore/recovery disc(s) or operating system disc(s) if needed. Additional software or hardware not included.

As part of this in-home service, a FAB Communications Technician will:

• Troubleshoot and diagnose one PC or device
• Test all the hardware and software associated with the device for proper functionality
• Make recommendations (including a cost estimate) for repairs or upgrades to help the device achieve peak performance

Note: Repair service is not included.

iPod®/MP3 Player Setup and Training Service

Take your music library to go with this in-home iPod®/MP3 player setup and training service.

• A FAB Communications Technician will visit you in the comfort of your own home.
• Get music We'll help you set up online music/media services like iTunes® or Napster, so you can download your favorite music. Plus, show you how to get your CD collection onto your computer or hard drive.
• Organize it We'll show you how to set up your music library and create playlists.
• Transfer it We'll show you how to transfer your music library from your computer to your player.
• Demo it We'll walk you through how to use your iPod/MP3 player.

Note: Requires a working high-speed Internet connection, as well as a PC or Mac. Consultation lasts approximately 30 minutes.
